Anita Sarkeesian, a Canadian/American media critic is also a public speaking event organizer. She founded Feminist Frequency which is a website which features video and posts analyzing the portrayals of females in popular culture. Anita Sarkeesian is an award-winning feminist media critic from Canada, as well as a blogger. Feminist Frequency is a website dedicated to education, which examines women's roles in popular culture, is directed by Sarkeesian. Committed to deconstructing the stereotypes about women and pop culture she also works in highlighting issues relating to harassment targeted at women and the other minorities of individuals in the internet world. Sarkeesian, who holds the degree of Master's in Political and Social Thinking with a degree from York University, is also popular as a public speech-maker.
