Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy, a half-Spanish and half-English woman was born on April 16th, 1996 in Miami Florida. A half English and half Spanish her parents are Dennis Alan Taylor a former banker as well as Jennifer Marina Joy a psychologist. His father was Argentine with Scottish-English heritage. Her mother is Spanish-English. She was the first born of a family with six kids. Four of her siblings are of the marriage that she had with Taylor's father. Family resided in Buenos Aires up until Taylor-Joy was 6 years old, later moving to Victoria district in London. Taylor-Joy says that moving to London was traumatizing and that she didn't take the time to learn English in order to prevent returning to Argentina. Hill House had to be her new school following the changed schools from Northlands. Later, she enrolled in Queen's Gate School to study dance and perform in school productions. At 16, she left the school to explore acting as a profession. Taylor-Joy had always wanted to become an actor. When she was 16, Sarah Doukas Founder of Storm Management gave her the opportunity to model.
